2013 Scholarships

  Each spring, our chapter awards $500.00 in scholarships.  We received a number of impressive applications this year and are pleased to announce our 2013 scholarship finalists who exemplify the Boston College ideal "Men and Women for Others" and excel in the categories of academics, leadership, and service.


Patrick Angiolillo

Patrick is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Theology (with a concentration in Biblical Studies) and minoring in Philosophy.  He recently participated in an excavation in Israel and plans on spending the summer conducting research at Yale University in preparation for his senior thesis.  

David D'Antona

David is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Computer Science and Economics.  He also studies Japanese and is a member of the Boston College Conversation Partners Program.

Katherine Donahue

Katherine is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in Communication and minoring in American Studies and Film Studies.  She volunteers with the Boston College Heights Boys and Girls Club, the Student Admissions Program, and the BC-MACC Program.

Kristin Rayburn

Kristin is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in English and Economics.  Through the Jenks Leadership Program and the Office of Health Promotion, she leads the "Health Starts Here" campaign and is dedicated to raising awareness about eating disorders.

Shayna Scott

Shayna is a senior in the College of Arts and Sciences, majoring in International studies and minoring in Philosophy.  She is an ESL tutor and aspires to work in the field of immigration as a lawyer or advocate for a non-profit immigrant advocacy agency.
